SPQR

I WANT TO UNDERSTAND.

So do I :D

WHAT IS IT?

Maybe it’s the Doctor….

When I get bored (properly, ‘a veil has dropped and I can no longer think’ bored) I become miserable and when I am miserable, I write poetry. It may not be good, but it is true.

Run

Sometimes
I want to run
Run free
And fast
And fierce
Run far
And wide
Untill the stich
In my side
Stops me
I want to run
From the hurt
And the pain
And the broken
But I can’t run from that
Because that is inside
I want to run
Not because I’m scared
But because
Then I will know
Who truly cares
Who will stay
And who
Will follow.

Shades

Black,
And white,
And shades,
Of grey,
All,
I see,
Day after,
Day,
No light,
No life,
No shades,
Of fun,
Just shades,
Of grey,
Till the day,
Is done.

Realisation

I’ve realised, I only ever write poetry when I’m miserable, like proper poetry. Anyone else?

mimikova:

sometimes when i write
i feel it’s just right
and i post and push it
out to the light
and i wait and refresh
and wait so see
if anyone out there
    kinda gets me
mostly they don’t
but that’s okay
cause i know i’m a bore
with not much to say
but that won’t stop me
from posting away
to find out if they get
         the next thing i say
more average than average
or  just a bit below
but i write what i post
and i post what i know
but sometimes when i write
the lighting does strike
and i feel like i did it
cause the post was just right

I like this poem, it has a beat (that I can’t remember the name of off the top of my head and can’t be asked to Wiki it) like Dr Seuss’, which is very hard to get right, but is all the more refreshing for it. It’s also a beautiful poem, that is very true

Neville: Only problem is, I can’t remember what I’ve forgotten!

THE SILENCE!

Sometimes people put up walls not to keep others out but to see who cares enough to break them down.

Burdens are for shoulders strong enough to carry them.

A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge.

I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders.

I love getting involved and lost in a book. One of the best feelings.

When all feels lost, ad you’re feeling down, just pick up a book, get lost in a world that is not your own, and you will feel at peace.

Is ‘fat’ really the worst thing a human being can be? Is ‘fat’ worse than ‘vindictive’, ‘jealous’, ‘shallow’, ‘vain’, ‘boring’, ‘evil’ or ‘cruel’? Not to me.
